I asked her what is something that makes you feel good. Her response was drawing if it isn't turning out bad. Well here are some samples of her drawings. Not bad at all!
What is happening in Cindy's Piano Studio. I've been teaching for over 30 years and still love it.

I love learning about what makes people happy or sad or what they are passionate about, especially my students. I have a little list of questions I ask them either at the interview or during the first few months of lessons.
Here are some of the questions I asked "I":
What are your favorite songs to listen to? She likes Classics, songs from different countries, and Rex Incognito. Click the link to see a YouTube video of the "animation" and live performance. Interesting.
What are your favorite subjects in school? French. Bonjour!
What are your favorite movies? Something that is not too dramatic but with emotion like Silent Voice. Rotten Tomatoes says "A Silent Voice looks at teen bullying from a soberingly hard-hitting perspective that's uncommon for the animated medium."
I've included the link to Rotten Tomatoes for a 30 second preview of the movie.I'm so excited. I finally started my first piano student in Watertown. She is a 12-year old who is very grown up and dramatic. This should be fun! I look forward to developing her enthusiasm and creativeness at the piano.
