"A" is learning about rests in music. Cindy's Piano students learn that notes are pictures of sound and rests are pictures of silence. The hat is a half rest!

"A" has started his second older beginner book at his piano lessons in Clinton, MO. This is the first piece. Does it sound familiar? It is from the William Tell Overture. I believe it was used in the Lone Ranger TV series too.
