I think "A" likes playing with words! And jokes too! I know she likes taking piano lessons and I enjoy teaching her. That is not a spelling error...treble has been changed for her music art as a joke to triple. Get it?! Funny "A"!

"T" is showing a real talent for drawing and piano! Can you find the half notes? Hint look to the paws. She is doing very well at piano lessons and is fun to teach.

"G"s Half Rest Art is Amazing!

Amazing! On stage you'll see people wearing hats, a worm half rest hat, a half rest hat rack with someone putting a half rest hat on the rack. Above the stage are half rest dream clouds as well as half rests flying to the moon where one is on the moon! I think we have a very creative story teller learning piano this year. Is one of several. I'm so blessed to be allowed to teach piano to them.

"H" was really creative with her whole note music art. Do you see the sun and the moon? The moon has a lot of whole note craters in it!

 

"G"'s next music art is half note art. There are people half notes and a sun half note. Do you see them? Great job, "G"!

"ARC"s First Video!

 Merrily We Roll Along. You can hear him saying his finger numbers as we play. It can be a challenge to talk and play and listen to the teacher's duet; however, he did it very well!

She Beat Me to the Keys!

 "G" and I had a race to the keys at her last lesson. Her mom called out the letters and I was standing farther away from the piano to be fair. Well, "G" beat me to all the letters her mom called out! Next time I'll stand closer! 😁

Cindy's Piano Studio Welcomes "H"! She wasn't too sure she wanted to take piano lessons at first but now she loves it and is practicing! She like 4H and horseback riding. Her favorite subject in school in math. She will be doing very well in both piano and math this year!

Today "ARC" learned about making forte (loud) and piano (soft) sounds at the piano. Can you hear him play softer?

Cindy's Piano Studio welcomes "AD". She is a wonderfully talkative elementary student who like to play random pieces and make up her own songs. Her favorite subject in school is science. She will do well in piano and science this year!

Welcome to Cindy's Piano Studio "A"! When asked why he wanted to take piano lessons, he said because he likes the sound of the piano.  Me to "A"! Especially when it's played by who excel at listening. He also said he wants to play songs he knows. "A" likes to play soccer and basketball and enjoys learning math. We are going to have a fun year with "A"!
