 This is creative! "A" is learning about eighth note pairs. The piano legs form the eighth notes. Good job, "A"!

"E"s Whole Rest Music Art

"E" created a music art story picture for us this week. 

The setting is the kitchen. Notice the cupboards, stove top, and ovens below? The Whole Rest is disguised as a pot on the stove. The cake and pie are in the oven. However, no one is watching over them! So what happens? FIRE! Everywhere. Hmmm...is this an actual story?

 

"E" Half Rest Music Art

"E" is learning about half rests. She drew this wonderful picture of a man (see the mustache?) sitting at the grand piano (note the arched lid top?) with a top hat (half rest) that almost reaches the light that is shining down on the stage. There are stage curtains and a tiled floor. Very creative!
