New Student Andee
Seven-year-old Andee started piano lessons on January 5, 2017. She just wanted something to do! She is involved in 4H and gymnastics but needed more activity in her life. Andee is learning piano with the Alfred Premier method and we are using Piano Maestro a lot as well. She has learned so much already. I look forward to seeing what we will do together at the piano. Welcome, Andee!
Mallory's First End-of-Book Recital a Success!
Congratulations, Mallory, on successfully completing your first End-of-Book Recital this weekend.
Mallory had her first End-of-Book recital at her home last night. She had about 20 people standing and listening and clapping. What an awesome memory we made.
Here's her invitation and program. She even let me participate with a duet! Awesome job, Mallory!

New Piano Student, Jax
Cindy's Piano Studio welcomes Jax to the Bemus Point studio
Cindy's Piano Studio welcomed Jax to piano lessons on January 4, 2017. Jax just turned five years old. Jax will be using the Faber's My First Piano Adventures to begin with. During his first lesson he learned about the "great pose" which just means he learned how to sit at the piano. In the picture he is balancing Tweety on his head for 10 seconds. He did a great job and Tweety didn't have to fly off because he never dropped him even when I asked him to turn his head towards the camera!Friday, November 4, 2016
E-FISH-ent Practice Winners
Congratulations to Kenny and Sam. They are the 1st and 2nd prize winners of our E-FISH-ent practice event. Kenny is holding "Half Note", a goldfish, which he assures me he will give me updates on his well being. This week Half Note made it safely to his home and only bumped into the walls a few times before becoming at ease.
Sam is holding a huge bag of Swedish Fish which may not be complete gone as Halloween candy came soon after. He may or may not share some with his sister, Dani.
Musical Flower
This week in Cindy's Piano Studio Bemus Point a musical flower was created. Kenny was having fun during one of his sister's lesson by creating a flower for me with chalk on the chalkboard table. I love his creativity and sense of excitement and wonder.

"Chalknotes"
I love these "chalknotes" from my creative students. While waiting for their lesson, they draw me notes.
