About two weeks ago "A" asked me if she could learn to play Happy Birthday for her brother. She only had taken six or so piano lessons and I wasn't too confident that this would happen. However I was willing to give her a go at it. I gave her Happy Birthday with finger numbers only and showed her where to put her hands. It's amazing what someone can do when they are motivated! She did well don't you think?
